We built a little pueblo with a story to tell and a leading role for every guest.
Let's Get Started
We imagined arriving in a pueblo just as the evening’s fiesta was getting started. Papel picado fluttered above serape runners, with colorful alebrijes bringing a little mischief to the tables. Around them, a working cantera fountain and a food tricycle gave our plaza its everyday life, while equipal lounges invited guests to settle in. For 150 people coming together for a corporate gathering, we wanted the first evening to feel like a welcome to the neighborhood. Pull up a chair, the pueblo has company!
For the general session workshops, we borrowed the idea of a location town square: somewhere to cross paths, catch up, and stay for another cup. A panoramic pueblo backdrop, colorful pueblo mágico letters, and a market-inspired coffee station brought that spirit to the terrace, with floral details carrying it through the meeting setup. Everything shared one space, so the story stayed with guests throughout the day. The agenda brought everyone together, and our little plaza gave them somewhere to get better acquainted.
Artisanal Mexican craft gave us two distinctive ways to do lunch. First came Talavera patterns in blue and white, inspired by a ceramic tradition passed through families and workshops in Puebla and Tlaxcala. Then came Oaxacan barro negro, whose deep black color develops during firing with limited oxygen. We paired its sculptural vessels with greenery, black linens, and mirrored accents. For the 90 guests returning to the same room, each setting offered another side of Mexico, close enough to appreciate over lunch. The craft has a story, and we gave it a place at the table.
